Milieu Management: Leading Groups and Creating Structure for Positive Treatment Experiences

Course Description: Many treatment providers are employed at facilities or agencies that utilize a group process to enhance client treatment.  This 3-hour workshop will provide attendees with an in-depth discussion related to Milieu Management and utilizing a group approach to treatment.  Important aspects of Milieu Management and Deterioration will be highlighted, along with how to build a successful group.  The utilization of the group process with be discussed as it relates to substance abuse and mental health treatment overall.
