Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Clinician
ABOUT US
The Hope Center, Inc. is a well-respected and leading recovery organization that cares for the homeless and at-risk persons by providing life-sustaining and life-rebuilding services that are comprehensive and address underlying addiction causes.
PURPOSE
The IOP Clinician is responsible for the evaluation, engagement, and treatment of clients presenting for services at Hope Center IOP. This position is responsible for the timely assessment and engagement of clients, leading IOP groups, conducting individual sessions, creating treatment plans, utilizing empirically supported interventions, and completion of all documentation within 48-hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Completes screenings, assessments, treatments, and formulates diagnosis plans to guide treatment interventions.
Cooperatively works with clients to determine appropriate interventions and goals; cooperatively develops treatment plans.
Engages in crisis management, safety planning, and referral as situations arise.
Provides education and support to clients focusing on substance abuse issues, individual and group counseling/therapy.
Assists clients in developing aftercare and relapse prevention plans.
Utilizes empirically supported treatments, interventions, and skills in individual and group settings.

This position must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, ethical practice, relationship management, critical evaluation, clinical knowledge and skill, and the ability to work with persons that shows sensitivity to cultural diversity, sexual orientation, and racial/ethnic differences.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Applicant must be a graduate of a college or university with master’s degree in a behavioral health field. And, must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychological Practitioner (LPP), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Certified Social Worker (CSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associates (LMFTA), or Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (LPCA) and licensable in the state of Kentucky.
HOURS
This is a full-time, non-exempt position requiring 40-hours per week. This position does include some evening shifts. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to cover shifts as needed.
