SALARY
The minimum salary is $55,875.04 annually
This is an exempt position not eligible for overtime; however, compensatory time is granted for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours per week
Pay Grade 521

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive clinical supervision of all clinical staff and services and to oversee the implementation of treatment and clinical intervention at the Audrey Grevious Center.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in Social Work; and, a minimum of four (4) years of experience in clinical social work
Valid Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) with supervisor approval from the Kentucky Board of Social Work in accordance with 201 KAR 23:070
Valid Driver’s License
First Aid and CPR/AED Certifications must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment and maintained as a condition of continued employment.
Safe Crisis Management (SCM) certification must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment and maintained as a condition of permanent appointment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Completes intake screenings and assessments on all incoming clients
Clinical supervision of social work staff in provision of individual and group treatment services
Plans, directs and supervises the work of social work staff
Provides crisis intervention and assessment services as needed for clients
Develops, conducts, or coordinates training for treatment staff
Guides and develops day to day programming, including master schedules and individual students’ educational schedules, special activities and events
Acts as a liaison with numerous agencies in the juvenile justice system
Attends Administrative Office of the Courts Family Accountability Intervention and Response (FAIR) team meetings
Acts as Program Administrator in his/her absence
Performs related work as assigned

SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to operate Urban County Government equipment and vehicles in a safe, prudent and responsible manner.
Individuals recommended for employment will be required to submit to a background check and Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) registry check. In addition, the person should be of sobriety and integrity, orderly and law abiding citizen and inasmuch as they will be working with minors, individuals who have offenses of sodomy or other similar or related offenses or incidents with minors will not be considered for employment.
All positions require drug testing before employment and may require a post-job offer physical as stated in Ordinances 21-14(b), 22-13 and 23-16.
Pursuant to the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988 and to sections 21-52, 22-34 and 23-50 of the Code of Ordinances, all employees must remain drug and alcohol free when reporting to work, while at work and while engaged in any work related activities.
Based on Federal Regulations 19-10 this position may be eligible for and offered the hepatitis vaccinations. In addition, employees will be required to sign a statement stating they have accepted or declined the hepatitis vaccination.

EXAMINATION
There will be a training and experience evaluation from information provided on the application at the filing deadline date.
