Website Trauma Informed Counseling Center (TICC)

This is a professional position in which the incumbent provides direct client care within the
TICC office setting via in-person AND telehealth (when applicable). The incumbent works
collaboratively with fellow clinical mental health counselors and targeted case managers to
provide client-centered assessment and diagnosis, evidence-based clinical counseling services,
treatment planning, client education, and the incumbent must refer clients for inpatient care in
accordance with statutes, regulations and protocols regulating the profession.
In addition, the Trauma-Informed Counseling Center (i.e., TICC) is a Lexington-based private
practice that serves individuals from all walks of life. TICC is a practice that puts client’s needs

of backgrounds. Therefore, the incumbent must possess the clinical counseling skills to provide
culturally responsive, culturally sound, and gender inclusive and expansive services. Therefore,

the salary range listed is inclusive for all licensed providers. However, the range for
provisionally licensed professionals is 48,000 to 73,000 based on number of clients seen. For
fully licensed individuals the salary range is 53,000 to 78,400.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
MUST POSSESS A Master’s Degree (MA or MS) or equivalent in Clinical Social Work,
Clinical Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy; It is recommended to have at least one to
four years related experience and/or clinical training post schooling. Fully licensed providers are
strongly encouraged to apply but provisionally/newly licensed professionals are welcome to
apply as well. Lastly, both education and experience must meet the following experience criteria:
• Demonstrate ability to keep accurate and complete charts, client records, required data
forms/processes for appropriate clinical charting and documentation.

Demonstrate ability to perform direct clinical counseling duties such as facilitating client
support/family counseling groups, individual counseling, couples/marriage counseling,
and family counseling services, as well as child development activities and/or clinical
support as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform mental health and other risk assessments in accordance with practice standards
(administering all clinical assessments and scoring of assessments- PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5,
CSSRS, etc.).
2. Develop clinically sound and evidence-based counseling interventions in coordination with the
client and/or their family.
3. Provide individual, family, and couples/marriage counseling services.
4. Make referrals to appropriate services and follow up on referrals of targeted clients through
phone calls, emails, etc.
5. Work closely with case managers and other professionals to provide meaningful clinical care
to clients.
6. Complete comprehensive treatment plans, clinical progress notes, and other documentation in
a timely manner (i.e., a manner set forth by the practice).
7. Complete written documentation to practice and state licensure standards.
8. Meet billing requirements as set by the agency/practice.
9. Participate in weekly individual and group supervision or consultation support as required.

10. Attend trainings to expand knowledge of current intervention options.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
