Welcome back, Wildcats! We hope you enjoyed a restful winter break and are ready for the semester ahead.
We celebrated 10 graduates from the BASW program in December. Daniel Beasley was honored to give a commencement speech at the ceremony in front of thousands of friends, family and fellow students. At our Honors and Awards Ceremony, Anna Villarreal was presented with the Dean’s Outstanding Service Award, Courtney Rupp was recognized for her awesome 4.0, and Daniel Beasley and Briana Sowers tied for Outstanding BASW Students. Dr. Diane Loefller presented Patricia Smith, Caroline Garza, Courtney Rupp, Briana Sowers and Daniel Beasley with Departmental Honors and Erin Mayhorn presented Caroline Garza, Vinie Price and Anna Villarreal with their Public Child Welfare Certification.
Briana presented Dr. Sarabeth Biermann with the Class of 2019 Faculty Special Recognition award as well.
