• What do they like best about their role as a Kinship Leader: Getting to know people, hearing their stories and struggles, offering encouragement, education, and support
• Personal experience with Kinship care: We were asked to be foster parents for my cousin’s 5-week-old baby. We had her until she was 11 months old when she was reunited with her mom. We continue to see her on most weekends because we love and miss her so much. She is now almost two years old with a newborn sister we get to love on also.
