Get to Know Sara
Sara has worked as an Academic Advisor since 2013 at three different institutions: Marshall University, Ashland Community and Technical College, and the University of Kentucky. She is currently acting as a member of the College of Social Work’s Staff Council; a member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), now participating specifically with their Professional and Graduate Advising Community; and a Graduate Student Congress Representative for the College of Education’s Department of Educational Leadership.
Sara has a tortoiseshell cat named Morticia. She enjoys cinema of all kinds (particularly horror), occasionally plays PC RPGs, and enjoys reading and writing fiction and creative non-fiction.
