About the Rosenstein Lecture

A signature part of the UK UNITE Research Showcase, the Rosenstein Lecture features thought leaders who have made a lasting impact in their fields. This year’s lecture will be delivered by Quiñones, whose investigative journalism and storytelling have shaped national discussions on ethical decision-making, immigration and civil rights.

Best known for What Would You Do?, Quiñones has spent decades uncovering compelling human stories and examining how media and research can drive meaningful change.

Building on its tradition of featuring influential voices, last year’s Rosenstein Lecture featured Juan Williams, a New York Times bestselling author and award-winning columnist. The 2025 event continues this legacy, with Quiñones exploring the role of journalism, advocacy and community engagement in shaping society.

A commitment to thoughtful dialogue

“The Irma Rosenstein Lecture Series reflects the heart of our mission—thoughtful discourse, critical inquiry and the pursuit of meaningful progress,” Jay Miller, dean of the College of Social Work, said. “We are deeply grateful to the Rosenstein family for their continued partnership in providing what will undoubtedly be an engaging and thought-provoking discussion.”
