The UK College of Social Work (UK CoSW) houses three dynamic Centers, three pioneering Labs, and the Institute for Facilitation Innovation. Each of these entities is dedicated to bridging the gap between research and real-world impact in the field. Each center, lab, and institute is firmly grounded in the aim to improve lives across the Commonwealth, the nation, and the world. Through the UK CoSW Centers and Labs infrastructure, researchers, educators, practitioners, and students unite to drive transformative research, shape essential services, and collaborate with community partners.

It serves as a conduit for translating research findings into cutting-edge services, practices, and initiatives aimed at addressing society’s most pressing challenges.
With a spectrum ranging from child welfare to military behavioral health, each Center and Lab showcases unwavering dedication. For caregivers across all walks of life, existing supports are often not enough. To fill the gap, the UK College of Social Work delivers programming designed to build on caregiver’s existing skillset to increase protective factors within out-of-home care. Historically focused on the needs of foster, adoptive, and kinship youth, the College now seeks to elevate support for those providing care to adults.
The eService Initiative at the UK College of Social Work is driven by one incredibly simple goal: prepare current and future generations of practitioners to engage in meaningful, impactful, and innovative digital service delivery. In pursuit of this goal, the College has led by example through the creation and deployment of ample digital supports for an array of audiences.
Through state-of-the-art programming and rigorous research targeted at previously misunderstood and compleax dynamics, the UK College of Social Work actively works to create and elevate meaningful supports for families and children everywhere.
The UK College of Social Work continues to set the standard for workforce advancement by engaging current and future practitioners, students, and young adults in unparalleled training and professional development opportunities.
