Measurement Informed Supervision: Tools for Growth, Reflection and Accountability

April 23 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm EDT
$30
Graphic for Continuing Education Training

Supervision is one of the most effective ways to improve clinical practice and organizational outcomes, yet it is often underutilized as a space for reflection, accountability, and implementation support. This session introduces measurement-informed supervision as a framework that equips supervisors to integrate outcome data into reflective conversations and staff development. Drawing on research in measurement-based care (MBC), relational-cultural theory, and reflective supervision, participants will learn how to transform supervision from routine case review into a collaborative process that fosters reflective practice, strengthens accountability, and supports implementation of evidence-informed approaches in everyday work.

The session combines lecture, case examples and small-group discussion to build participants’ confidence in using outcome data relationally within supervision. Topics include the rationale for incorporating MBC into supervision, strategies for aligning data with staff learning goals and connecting them to client outcomes, and tools for embedding reflection and accountability into supervision practices. Relational-cultural supervision principles will be emphasized to ensure that data discussions enhance trust, connection, and mutual growth rather than feeling evaluative or judgmental. Participants will leave with practical tools, including reflection prompts and supervision questions to support integration of measurement-informed supervision in their own settings.
