Volunteers Needed – UKPD Emergency Exercise

The University of Kentucky Police Department is hosting a realistic, full-scale training exercise designed to simulate emergency conditions. This event will bring together multiple agencies, departments, and emergency response teams to test real-world coordination, communication, and response efforts.

We’re looking for volunteers—and you’re invited!

As a participant, you may act as a simulated patient, bystander, or evacuee, helping responders practice vital lifesaving skills in realistic scenarios.

No special skills are required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to take part.

This is an all-day event, with meals and refreshments provided.

This is a unique opportunity to support your community’s preparedness while getting a behind-the-scenes look at emergency operations in action.
