CoSW and DCBS brought self-care resources to foster and adoptive families this holiday season.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky College of Social Work celebrated the holidays with the Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) Southern Bluegrass Region, providing a moment of self-care for caregivers and other resources to foster and adoptive families on December 14.

The Foster Family Holiday party, taking place at Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, offered active Southern Bluegrass DCBS foster families a day to celebrate the holidays, including games, arts and crafts, and gifts.

The CoSW was in attendance, offering caregivers chair massages, as well as resources at the College of Social Work for foster and adoptive families.
