When she is not teaching or working with students, Dr. Biermann enjoys spending hours with her fabric stash, constructing quilts, or motorcycling with her husband. Dr. Biermann is a fan of mystery, sci-fi, and horror novels. She also enjoys the various iterations of Star Trek.
