Bio
Md Kamrul Hasan is a committed researcher and social work professional currently pursuing a PhD degree in Social Work at the University of Kentucky. With a robust academic foundation from the University of Dhaka, his research emphasizes child welfare, the impact of microfinance on human development, and gerontology. He possesses teaching, policy analysis, and community mobilization experience, having worked as a lecturer, project supervisor, and executive officer in several organizations. His efforts encompass child rights advocacy, insurance awareness initiatives, and research related to child welfare and social challenges. As a former USAID project supervisor, Kamrul has directed projects aimed at supporting the well-being of children, youth, and the elderly. He has also played a role in policy evaluation for international organizations such as the Norwegian Refugee Council. Outside of his academic pursuits, he is a passionate volunteer, debater, and social advocate, dedicated to connecting research with tangible solutions for at-risk populations.
