In October 2022, SWAA was excited to celebrate our alumni across the country through a variety of in-person and virtual activities in conjunction with UK Homecoming!

Prior to Homecoming Week, alumni were asked to submit photographs from their time as CoSW students. Select photographs were then shared in the College of Social Work group on Wildcat Network.

As another virtual component of the college’s Homecoming celebration, SWAA held a Homecoming Trivia Tournament! The tournament consisted of a unique round of trivia per day from October 14-16. After answering the most questions correctly across all three rounds, Laneshia Conner was named the 2022 SWAA Homecoming Trivia Tournament champion! All participants received a mini-swag mailer, which included a CoSW Alumni tumbler and Kentucky Mix popcorn.

On October 15, alumni attended the UKAA Tailgate Tent Party and the UK vs. Mississippi State football game thanks to complimentary tickets, which were provided by the college on a first-requested, first-served basis.

We had a great time celebrating Homecoming 2022 with our alumni and are already looking forward to Homecoming 2023!
