Education has always been central to Bill Beaven’s mission of helping others. These funds continue Beaven’s lifelong work of opening doors for others.

This year’s theme, “Honoring Youth: Strengthening Pathways for Lasting Bonds,” places young people in foster care at the center of the conversation—where they’ve always belonged.

Designed in partnership with the Kentucky Center on Addiction Studies, the training program prepares students to meet urgent state workforce needs in substance use treatment.

The handbook helps students bridge classroom learning with professional application while navigating emerging technologies and challenges in the field.

The symposium brought together sport social work leaders from across the world, including several CoSW faculty, staff, and students.

During the CSWE Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado on October 23 – 26, Dr. Kathryn Showalter will be presented with the 2025 Violence Against Women and Children Manuscript Award by the Council.
