The Five Love Languages
Event Overview
The 5 Love Languages introduces parents to the different love languages and discusses ways to use this information to strengthen partner/spouse relationships as well as relationships with children and teenagers. Parents will learn to identify their own love language as well as the love language of family members and how knowing these specific love languages can provide multiple opportunities to improve and grow relationships with loved ones.
After completing this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify the 5 Love Languagesโ
- Recognize your love language and your spouse/partnerโs love languageโ
- Understand how the 5 love languages allows for better communication with our partners and childrenโ
- Apply the 5 love languages to children and teenagers
ASK-VIP trainings are expressly designed to meet the needs of foster and adoptive parents. Skilled trainers who have lived experiences with fostering and adoption provide these trainings in a virtual group setting. There is 1.5 hours of ongoing, elective foster parent training credit available for Kentuckyโs foster parents.

If there are two adults in the same household that want to participate in this training, each person must register separately. Foster parent training credit is administered based on the duration of the meeting and each attendeeโs participation. Training credit is only available if you have not participated in this training within the past twelve months.
